Green Isle Community School
The purpose of the Green Isle Community School and the Clover Kids Child Care (CKCC) program is to provide a nurturing environment that promotes social, emotional, physical, cognitive, and language growth. CKCC programs reflect the research-based understanding that play is essential to children’s health and well-being, and foundational to children’s learning. CKCC supports children in creating their own knowledge through hands-on experiences and child-initiated play. Teachers provide encouragement, nurture, protection, security, stimulation, and supervision to children.
We serve birth-5yrs old in our Clover Kids Child Care program. We serve Kindergarten through 6th grade in the multi-age classrooms as we always have in the past.
CKCC strictly complies with child care regulations regarding child-to-staff ratios. CKCC will care for a maximum of 8 infants, 14 toddlers, 20 preschoolers, and 30 school-age (during non-school hours/days). This number is based on the indoor and outdoor square footage of the child care facility as well as the number of child care providers on staff. Wait-list forms for birth-5yrs old can be found on our website www.greenislecommunityschool.org under the Clover Kids header at the top of the page and enrollment forms for our K-6 school can be found on the site as well under resources and links.
CKCC will be open 6 am-6 pm M-F year-round (excluding major holidays). The staff is always willing to meet and greet new people, give tours of our school and child care center, and get all the paperwork to enroll. We will also be taking registrations but our infant, and preschool classes are quickly approaching numbers where we will need to start a wait-list so contact the school soon by email: firstname.lastname@example.org, calling: 507.326.7144 or reach out to us on Facebook and get enrolled!
